Windows 7 64-bit, screensaver and power options won't work at all. They better fix this crap soon, I'm sick of manually clicking a shortcut to my screensaver every time I'm done using my PC for a while.

Well, I updated the softphone (ugh...) and the problem seems to have resolved itself, for now at least.

Lately the answering machine I have set up for my majicJack is answering when no-one is calling. It'll play my greeting, after which I'll hear the buzz of an empty line for approximately 4-5 seconds. How do I know if I have call forwarding enabled?

Just a quick question here.. If I use an answering machine but the power goes out or some other unforeseeable-answering-machine-disabling catastrophe occurs, will MJ's voicemail pick up the call?

Have you had any luck doing that?

Install Startup Control Panel then run the application.
You can find the link in the control panel, it will be called Startup.
I had to switch to classic view to find it.

After starting the program click on the HKCU / Run tab.

It seems that if I delete it and restart my computer the blasted thing always comes back as soon as the softphone activates. Can this be done? I find that sometimes Google Voice will pick up and sometimes magicJack's crappy voicemail system will pick up. It's rather annoying, and it's prompted me to grab an old answering machine from my junk pile to use. That works, of course, but it isn't ideal. Any ideas, folks?

If I just use the sound file sent to my email by magic jack when I have a voice mail, and never actually check my voicemail through the softphone or by using my telephone, will my voicemail eventually get full and be unable to accept any more messages? Or will it automatically delete the oldest ...
