there is no "false advertising".
MAGIC JACK expected no issues for area codes for canada... but they have "hoops" to jump with the canadian CRTC.

CANADIAN cell/phone companies are pressuring crtc to slow progress on MAGIC JACK comming into canada And taking area codes/numbers.

i'll stick to the year-to-year thing.

i agree that more than likely a new "device" will be out with more features and such.


would you buy an "iphone" knowing that the "new" model will be out in 1 month?

so, after paying $40.00 + tax, i gotta pay $10.00 for canadian number, then after 1 year, pay $20.00+$10.00 again.....



well... its still worth it.. beats paying $30.00/mth for cell phone

it'll be another week or so untill i can get the BMO CC, should i just "accept" a USA number now, then swich to a canadian number once i get the BMO CC?

i bought MJ the other week, but cant get prepaid credit card for another few weeks... i have option of choosing usa number NOW so i can call out, and friends with long distance can call laptop, but can i EASILY switch from usa number to canadian when i get the $10.00 for ...

i just wanna know that MJ accepts that certain card before i pay like $25.00 JUST for the card, plus the money i put on....
but, i guess cause its a visa/MC CC, it should be more than good enough.

MJ should get themselves together and accept PAYPAL.

they would get wayyyyy more customers!!!!

i dont have a CC.

which is why i need a prepaid CC
even if i did, i wouldnt use it as i heard stories that peoples CC were overcharged and such.

never trust a company that can take money from you without asking.

i need to do the $10.00 USD for my canadian number as i just bought and installed the magicjack.

so my options are to only get a prepaid credit card from moneymart here in canada, they have one that allows me to "top-up" the PREPAID CC to any ammount i wish.....


is this suitable in order to get ...

turn "autoplay" off.

then u wont have that popup every time u plug in a usb device that also acts as storage device, and yes, MJ is a storage device, it has like 17MB of useable storage.


turning autoplay off will affect ALL USB DEVICES that are used for portable storage
