Good idea Joe. I removed 2 contacts and added 1 new one and after restarting MJ the 2 removed contacts were still there and the new one was not, so it looks to me like there IS a problem with making any contact changes right now.

Can somebody else please confirm they see the same behavior?

Since yesterday or today I've noticed that even though I can add new contacts into MagicJack, they are no longer seen in the contact list after restarting MJ. I've never had this problem before and before yesterday I was able to add contacts which persisted through restarts.

I just came back from a short errand and see there's lots of people experiencing the same thing. Glad to learn I'm not alone with my MJ call issue.

I justed pmdump'd MJ to find my proxy and discovered my packets go from Boston to Chicago to New York and back to Boston to connect to MJ's proxy and vms servers. Seems likes a ridiculous route since I'm physically located about 15 minutes from Boston by car!

Magicjack has upgraded softphone version . 20091224000005 is the latest software version of magicjack's softphone. Now your call logs and contacts will not saved in your magicjack drive. They will be saved on their servers. That is what they have done in this upgrade.
