the MagicJack people had to replace my MJ and the new one works fine.

I have a powered USB Hub but MJ will not work on it. I have to plug it directly into the laptop ports.

I will try that.

In the mean time I found that if I uninstalled MJ using the remover software and then installed the upgrade upgrade180.exe
The error:"Warning: Must Plug MagicJack into USB" would go away

Eventually I reboot my computer and the error comes back! So I have to remove the MJ software ...

How do I get to see and format the real Magic Jack drive?

The partition says Formatted CDFS "Healhty" not FAT. Is that the problem?

I am continually getting the error message:

I followed your instructions and removed the software as well as unplugged the MagicJack and rebooted. I then plugged in the MagicJack and it downloaded and upgraded.

The desktop for the MJ seemed to come up OK and it was in regular DSL mode. BUT...... the phone number appeared as 000-000-0000 and ...

I have Windows XP and have been using MJ with my DSL for several months. Now it seems to be stuck in Air Mode and the MJ software is locked up so I can't change the mode. I have tried rebooting with the MJ plugged in and without it plugged in but always the same result.

Please help.
