New UI update has confused (=**&^%$ up!!) the Magicfeature plugin. Hope Redpepper & co. would offer an upgrade soon.

I have MJ & MFplugin on a thin client. After the UI upgrade the incoming calls do not ring into the external phone if the MFP is running, and if I exit MFP then the phone rings fine ...

Hey redp what has happened to your own site support forum? it seems no longer there. Is it at a new add?

I got Old ver. MJ and this same thing started happening to the callers to my MJ lately, from about 2-8-12.

I hear the rings but some callers say its just dead silence till i answered!!

I guess it is from their latest 'unlucky-u-update' or a server problem.

I'd give them about a week and see how ...

MF-plugin no longer push the ring signal to external phone and MRing4evr seems no longer compatible as well.

Ring signal seems the only problem with MfP, I think.

It cannot reboot (may be there is a way around, if needed?), but it re launch mj.exe when manually stopped.

I am using a dedicated PC for my MJ.

I ve set it up to auto boot once every day.

Occasionally my MJ crash and I wish for an 'application' that would kick in and reboot the machine if and when that happens.

I blv such a 'script' is possible. To run on the background and keep an eye on MJ-exe and ...

It has nothing to do with "boot order" You need to look in the BIOS for boot from USB. It is in a different area of the BIOS than the boot order..
So dig around in the BIOS some more for the boot from USB setting..

Just as a FYI I have my boot order as 1st= Floppy drive, 2nd= cd/dvd drive and ...

Yes I thought of that and need to ask them to chk that.

But its brand new PC and cant blv anything out of ordinary in BIOS.
I m kinda sure its the MJ and it may need some update.
But I do not know how 'old' or how valid that MJ win 7 update.

My folks back home (far away land!) were using MJ on a XP pc with no trbl.

Recently they got a new laptop running Win 7.
