May be a stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer on Pageplus faq's. Are mobile to mobile calls free and if not are carrier to carrier calls free or do you have to use your minutes?
All minutes are billed, incoming, outgoing, mobile to mobile it's all the same. I've been a customer ...

Skype works great for making calls to others with Skype but they charge to call a landline so I would probably use Sipgate for that. I actually have an ata set up at my Daughters home (cell phone only household) using google voice and sipgate for my Grandsons to call me and the voice quality is great.

Final follow up, I've been using the TK for over a week with no problems and great call quality. My MJ unfortunately continues to have the same poor quality and numbers not going through, beeps during calls, echo and garble. I'll leave the MJ up and running for people that don't have my new number ...

Finally received my TK6000 yesterday after the postal service decided they liked the box to sit in Philadelphia for 9 days! First impressions are that this thing smokes MJ. I made calls to all my problem numbers and they were clear as when I had a POTS line. I'll continue testing for a couple weeks ...

Good luck, when I call my Son's number it's 50-50 whether it will go threw or give me a fast busy. This usaully changes about every 4 or 5 days and when I get the fast busy I have to use my cell to call. I've had my MJ for close to 2 years and he has had the same number for at least 5 years. I've ...

Well the recent update pushed me over the edge and the TK6000 is ordered. I lost all my contacts and running the fix on MJ's site didn't help. After a lot of testing and thinking I've figured out that almost all calls I make to my east have problems and most of my calls in other directions are ok. I ...

I didn't change my internet options and I won't be changing them. My TC runs with no virus software and I can't allow things to install whenever they want. The point is moot now anyhow, I've decided I've wasted enough time and money trying to get decent service from my MJ. I've ordered a TK6000 to ...

Re: What to try next?
What router/software are you running? What are it's QoS settings? Can you give priority to the TC?
I have a Rosewell RNX-easyN4 router. I have Qos turned on with my TC set for unlimited but I don't think it matters since the TC is in the DMZ. My TC is running XPE SP 3 now (just switched from ...

That's the site I've been using to test my connection. My scores on the graph are always above the top line or just slightly below when I test. I have no other broadband options where I live without a live phone line, we can't get dry DSL line in my area. I wouldn't ...

What to try next?
I can't get my MJ to work properly for 25% of my calls. I have echo, garble or 1 sided audio on some calls. Some calls to some numbers won't work like my son's number wouldn't work for days although I could call from my cell phone with no problem and I often don't hear ringing when I call people even ...

Crash then you need to plug in your device
I was running magicjack on my TC XPsp2 and last night it started crashing when you would talk for a little over 5 minutes then say I needed to plug in the usb device. I tried unplugging then plugging it back in and windows didn't recognize the device. After a couple reboots I got it to work again ...

I was having problems with no sound with my magicjack, turned out to be my router firewall. My MJ is on a TC so I put it in the DMZ and now my calls are great. I figured if I had to open all the ports I read about here all my pc's would be at risk and since a TC is basically virus proof I'd rather ...
