Clearwire suck's for me, might as well be on dial up. Magic jack worked much better on Qwest DSL. Had to switch the primary line to skype so that I would have a line that was dependable. I use my cellphone as back up.

Yes it will ask for login information if your computer was powered down and had to reboot. For magic jack to be turned on your computer has to be turned on. Call your number from another phone and check your email that way. And then try restarting your magic jack and see if your voice mail can then be checked using the softpad on your computer.

I lost my contact list yesterday when I got the update. This morning when I plugged the magic jack back in my contact list reappeared on the soft phone. The update didn't help my call quality though, it's still choppy.
