Clearwire suck's for me, might as well be on dial up. Magic jack worked much better on Qwest DSL. Had to switch the primary line to skype so that I would have a line that was dependable. I use my cellphone as back up.

Yes it will ask for login information if your computer was powered down and had to reboot. For magic jack to be turned on your computer has to be turned on. Don't rely on magic jack to be your main phone line. It's fun to use when it's working but it is not always reliable. I also use skype, and a ...

Compaq Ipaq Desktop
I just picked up a Compaq C-700, it has 256 MB of ram, and a 10 GB hard drive. It has a celeron processor with 700 mhz. of power. All I need to do is load windows xp on it and do some minor adjustments and I think it will work fine with the magic jack. Also picked up a hawking bb-1 broadband booster ...

Just wanted to thank you guys for the caller id fix. Now if I could just get rid of the echo and word skipping that I hear on my phone. People that I talk to say that I sound clear as a bell with no echo, and they only hear the word skipping every now and then. I have tried the powered usb hub, and ...
