Just so everyone knows. The 100K ohm trick only works on Windows. I spoke to MJ customer service. And while the MJ does work on a Mac, the CID is not a supported function yet.

I have a Mac running Parallels 5.0. Caller ID to handsets works using windows (via Parallels) but not OSX on a Mac. The softphones display caller ID on both OSes, but only to handsets via Windows! Very frustrating!

I'm assuming that you only have the MJ running under the virtual machine and not ...

All I did was wrap the resistor around the red and green terminals and the caller id works on all my phones. You can get one at radioshack for a few dollars or you could look into the magicfeatures plugin in the for sale/wanted section and this also takes care of the caller id problem.

Still Not working for me

I have tried both methods described in these forums for getting the caller ID to work. Bot the solder in the coupler and the non-solder using the duplex surface mount. Neither of them are working for me. I am having a hard time locating the REN for my phone system thinking that might be the cause ...
