as the op wrote; you do it through the google chat in gmail. once a gmail account is associated with a google voice account, in gv, under settings, google chat will appear in the iist of forwarding phones. if you check that off, and go into gmail and open the chat you will see 'place call' as on ...

i saw the method to obtain sip credentials relative to the tk6000, but i think the duo is too new to know if you can get them; they give out a proxy and username and password for the iphone app; but it is not certain those are the actual sip credentials; so it might be best to wait until someone who ...

i am using tomato on an asus rt-n12, but i don't think it is a firmware issue; if the proxy works inside the network; it will work outside. make sure your firewall script is opening up port 5070. not the port forwarding section.

yes it works, i do it all the time; i have mjproxy running on my router; use noip.com for my ddns. on my softphone away from my own network i list my ddns alias:5070 and it works fine. through iptables in the router i open 5070 and thats it. the same would on any mobile device that you can get an ...

maybe they have changed things; the only thing i needed to activate it was a 4 digit pin sent to a cell phone; is that what you are talking about ? i too could not find it in wireshark, i can only see the md5 nonce. so i am at a loss, on setting up another they only ask for one password which is ...

i think it would come down to the proxy; there are several apps for sip for phones. i don't have an iphone or similar, but i have the proxy in my tomato capable router, and i opened up port 5070 with an iptables command that is part of the firewall script and on a netbook with a softphone, i use my ...

the udp conversation packets are going to be under 62000. if the router has an option to open ports with nat-pmp that would be best; otherwise you'd have to open something like 8000-50000 for udp and that will do it; with most routers you should not have to forward anything; i'd consider another ...

Best solution is to install the tomato firmware on the router. make sure you check carefully the version number on your router to find out how to go about changing out the firmware. then follow the instructions here:

i took a look again, there was a wiki there about the unit; it runs a 2.6 linux kernel and the source code was there; it shows all of the installed programs and the proprietary programs they use on the kernel. they also talk about modifying the firmware; but my best guess is that if you look in the ...

could not read the thread you pointed out; its for registered users. you have to find out what the unit is running. it has 128 megs of ram and it states 4 megs of flash memory. that more than most routers running dd-wrt; i would guess it is a linux kernel. i don't think any proxy is going to work ...

correcting my prior post, i see you are dealing with a router not supported by dd-wrt and using a computer on the network to host the proxy. in that case you probably only need to forward 5070 to the computer running the proxy and it should work. if it does not you might want to add an exception in ...
