as the op wrote; you do it through the google chat in gmail. once a gmail account is associated with a google voice account, in gv, under settings, google chat will appear in the iist of forwarding phones. if you check that off, and go into gmail and open the chat you will see 'place call' as on ...

sleepy, to be able to use your ata, you can look at voipo, you can get it for around 10/month all in with promo codes. nettalk duo, probably wont be able to get creds. voip.ms has great features does incoming for 5/month plus 1 cent min outgoing. i like those two best.

i don't see how that is possible, one way or another the ata has to register, without the md5 encryption it is not going to work

i saw the method to obtain sip credentials relative to the tk6000, but i think the duo is too new to know if you can get them; they give out a proxy and username and password for the iphone app; but it is not certain those are the actual sip credentials; so it might be best to wait until someone who ...

i think you mean t.38 on the voip fax codec. in the old days when we could use an ata, it worked fine, following settings found here:

that is using 711u codec. all you need to do is turn off ecm in the fax machine and ...

i am using tomato on an asus rt-n12, but i don't think it is a firmware issue; if the proxy works inside the network; it will work outside. make sure your firewall script is opening up port 5070. not the port forwarding section.

to test just telnet in and issue the command manually and then test it ...

telnet into your router and enter these commands:

iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 5070 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I INPUT -p udp --dport 5070 -j ACCEPT

then try; it should work; normal port forwarding is not what you want to expose the router. if it does add the lines to your firewall script so that ...

the udp conversation packets are going to be under 62000. if the router has an option to open ports with nat-pmp that would be best; otherwise you'd have to open something like 8000-50000 for udp and that will do it; with most routers you should not have to forward anything; i'd consider another ...

could not read the thread you pointed out; its for registered users. you have to find out what the unit is running. it has 128 megs of ram and it states 4 megs of flash memory. that more than most routers running dd-wrt; i would guess it is a linux kernel. i don't think any proxy is going to work ...

Did you read the OP???

if it has support to build from source, it will work, just get the mjpoxy c source that is here and make the proxy file. otherwise you need more info as to what it is running.

correcting my prior post, i see you are dealing with a router not supported by dd-wrt and using a computer on the network to host the proxy. in that case you probably only need to forward 5070 to the computer running the proxy and it should work. if it does not you might want to add an exception in ...

iptables -I INPUT -p udp --dport 5070 -j ACCEPT
