Is there a file entry I can make so that magiJack will not automatically start up when I boot my computer. My aim is to get faster logins for those sessions where I don't plan to use the magiJack.
If so, can you please tell me the exact file and the entry.
I'm using Windows XP.

similar problem more detail
Let's hope someone from MagicJack is reading this. I'm having roughly same problem, and I'll spell out the symptoms as carefully as I can in the hope it will provide clues.
Specifically. I didn't actually try MagicTalk, which I'm not interested in, but each time the invitation came up I didn't know ...

static
I have the same problem, and a kind of fix has been to call myself from another phone. I don't even have to answer the MJ. Then it's all fixed until I reboot the machine. Then I have to call myself again.
Let me know if this works for you?

working without contact list
If one gets a telephone with it's own contact list, then one wouldn't need MJ's contact list. I had been doing this since I got my MJ.

configurable
Are there any MJ files on the computer that are user configuarable?
Here's the problem I'm trying to solve. I've got two MJ's and two computers. For seven months, both worked perfectly on both computers.

Thank you, but....
Thank you, but I'm a bit skeptical. My MJ is not exhibiting any of the symptoms - empty caller lists, etc. - that your fix was intended for.
Or am I missing something here?
The MJ site has fixes for three different problems including disappearing caller lists, but warns against using the fixes, if ...

problem after automatic update
Had excellent service for about 9 months. This week the MJ did one of it's automatic updates, and now I'm having problems. Specifically, when I first call out after a computer boot up, one can hear the person on the other side, but the voice is just an unintelligible buzz.
