I would get that too but ive heard too many issues with the service and people are making complaints to the FCC about not getting their refund and how they over charge your credit card or double charge you.

Speaking with a new voip service rep he told me what the problem is and said magicjack is singing up to many people and the servers that handle the service are having issues and they dont want to admit it but thats magicjack for you.

I used to work at walmart and was told anytime you have an issue with an item bring it in and ive told this to many customers who decided to wait to to long to return their item for a refund or exchange. After the deadline they couldnt return it.

I talked to the phone companies to and one electronic/computer tech store and they all said its magicjack blocking the numbers.

One phone company i called said maybe magicjack cant pay the bills and they need to block the number to save money then they release it and then it rings all the time ...

This is what i got from their scripts.

Telco is blocking numbers.

Contacting your phone provider and ask them if they're blocking calls to magicjack.

Our engineers are looking into it.

Contact your phone provider and ask them to open UDP 5060 and UDP 5070.

Thats all i got from them so far.

I will contact them every single day until they resolve this issue.

Something tells me they're blocking incoming calls cause when i ask them if any telco's are blocking numbers they said it might be were not sure then they advised me to call my cell phone provider and tell them to open UDP 5060 ...

Well are you sure? Like its not just me that is having these issues other people have and ever since March i had 0 issues and now with the update Magicjack has done and with the whole telco or magicjack or whoever blocking numbers it sounds like magicjack is causing issues then the issue being me.

I cant even call my own mj line on my cell phone or any other line around where i live.

Sometimes it rings and sometimes it doesnt.

All MJ told me was some Telco companies are blocking lines.

My area code is 647 and i got my number in March and was going fine till now in August and sometimes it rings and other times it gives a fast busy signal.

Its very sad when a tech support agent wont even answer your question and just goes around it.

Nothing else is running except for the usual like firewall and virus scanner and thats it. When i got to do safely removal hardware i dont have anything running and again just the usual 2 items.
