Yes, I tried all the obvious ways to fix my mJ. I also spent 3 hours on LiveChat with customer service. I went through 5 people before I finally gave up on customer (dis)service.
I must have formatted mJ atleast 3 times and installed upgrade.dmg . No this did not solve the problem. Also checked ...

I've been having trouble with magicJack, that I assume stem from my father pulling out the device from USB without quitting first. Anyway, I've gotten it to work via microphone & speakers, but not through the telephone.
