Thank you. This was the missing piece of information. I was looking for a way to configure the MJ application when I should have tried shutting it down altogether. Once I quit the MJ app, I was able to use Skype without a problem. Then once the call was over, I just restart MJ in order to ...

I can use MagicJack with Skype--or should I say I can use Skype with MagicJack, but after about 2 minutes my call is interrupted by the dial tone and I have to hit a key on the phone pad to get rid of it, which of course brings up the "If you want to dial a number" message as well.
