goodnews bad news

the good news is it works after I open a 5060/5070 UDP ports in my own router. I finally got in touch with my mom and spoke to her for over an hour...bad news is after that I can't make calls anymore...the note is signing in instead of ready to call....I guess it is the same problem with others ...

You would typically open those ports within your own router, if you're going through one, and not try to have you ISP do it on their end. You would need to reference your router's documentation to see how to do that. I have a Linksys WRT54GL and it was easy to open those ports. But I'll also say ...

More BS from MJ. Told me the same. My IP will not open ports as they do not support(MJ)third party software. I enabled on my win 7 and makes no difference. MJ support will tell you it is on your end and will not accept any responsibility.

Problem as said in the title. Changed USB port, used diff computer but same internet provider, tried MJ soft phone, tried hardware phone (which worked on land line). No go.
