Just a quick ? or two (or few).

What advantage would I have running MJ as a service?
Is it more stable this way?
Would it help in NOT having to unplug and replug the MJ so often?
Does it work well in Win7?

I did search using 'fax' and such, but not pots.

My MJ is working well for calls. It loads properly when I start the PC - using Win7.

Faxing is a different matter. It will receive faxes, but when I send it is a hit and miss ...mostly a miss. The times that it said the fax was sent properly, it actually did not. I have my HP Officejet 8500 hooked ...

The problem was half the time when I would reboot or leave the PC off overnight - on restart it would make me unplug & replug the MJ.

I tried The Startup Control Panel by Mike Lin, and I was thinking that would work ..but it still acted up.

It has to be some of the worst I have encountered. It is neat that we have sites like this.

For someone who does not know PCs when MJ acts up or does not install easily, it would really be a prob, though.

Where is the drive to right click on? Is it the MJ icon on my desktop?

I have Win 7 and the MJ works fine - clear as a bell. I would like to plug the MJ in a usb @ the back of my PC, which is not easily accessible to unplug and replug the MJ device (dongle?) when I have to restart the PC.
