Your condescending remark is unwlecome and in part unfounded. A "search for Magicblock" was interpreted by me to Google the term..which I did...and which led to my download. If you had indicated to read what was on the forum I would have done that.

Now, after only an hour or so, MagicBlock seems to be detected by magicjack and I can no longer dial numbers on my phone while it is active. I can dial just fine when it is disabled. I have removed magicblock.

Thanks. I installed it and so far I see no downside. It does block the screen.

Is there any way to stop the screen that shows contacts etc. from popping up after I hang up a call? It invariably happens about 15 seconds after I hang up while I am typing away at something. It preempts the work I am doing and I only find out after I glance at the screen to see that my last ...

AT&T requires me to live in a specific suburb of my city to use this area code and number. Do I have any alternatives to AT&T where they are more reliable than MJ, and can guarantee me to keep the number from where I am located (same city, just a few miles away from the AT&T-required location)?

I just paid for a vanity phone number. How safe is it to assume I can keep it for years to come? I want to print cards, stationery, etc. Also, how important is it to get listed in a phone book? I assume MagicJack numbers cannot get listed?
