magicJack and magicJack Plus Support, Reviews, FAQs and Tricks

In my third year with MJ now...usually works well enough..
Recently on incoming calls it only rings once than switches to voicemail..
Don't think I changed any settings..
Does anyone know how to fix this and have it ring more before VM pickup?

I am VERY computer ignorant..have had MJ for over a year and a half..mostly happy with it.
I have to often use the fowarding feature..so to make it easier I bought that 19.95, 20 extra feature thing to make fowarding easier by just dialing 72/73..bought it last June and been very happy with the ...

That just happened to me for the first time...I turned on my computer and a popup page appeared...asking for my password in order to logon.
Hopefully this will not be a recurring problem...

Thanks for the Google Voice suggestion...I did it..it seems to work fine..the whole Google Voice thing is a bit confusing(I am very new to this computer stuff)..I assume if I waited for MJ to fix the 917-347 incompatability I might get too old to use a phone (LOL

Have been very pleased with MJ since I got it about 15 months ago..until a few weeks ago when I got a new cellphone..My MJ will not interact with the new cellphone..I can't call it from MJ..I can't use the forwarding option with the new cellphone.
I've been on customer service chat for enlesss hours ...

I am very new to computer stuff but got a magicjack about 15 months ago and been very pleased with almost no problems...until about 2 weeks ago when I got a new cellphone from Assurance Wireless..
It turns out I cannot call the new cellphone from my magicjack..all I get is beep,beep,beep then ...
