Many thanks to all! I now have Tomato firmware installed on my wrt54gs and set QoS for dedicated Magicjack computer' (mac address) to highest class. No more issues!

Thanks. No luck yet so far, played around with QOS on the router - it did improve a little when I assigned router's port #2(magic jack pc) as premium and 1,3,4 as standard. I also set max download/upload cap in utorrent settings(800kBs/8kBs). Wouldn't think I would have problems with MJ being on it ...

I am using WRT54GS V1 router(open WRT firmware), magic jack on its own clean dedicated computer(xp pro).

Every time(on a separate computer) I launch utorrent "other side" complains of low, choppy, bad quality call, but always clear on my side. I close utorrent they say I am clear as a bell ...
