I would not want to renew if my unit is bad, and would like to confirm this before giving them my money.
Why even have the MJ unit plugged in if all you are tying to do is renew?? Just log into your account, renew, reboot and THEN plug in the MJ unit and see what happens. OR contact online chat ...

Restarts every 1 second
My unit restarts every second. At least the onscreen window does. It does not load contacts, or recognize the 911 address. Only clue is that I unplugged it before it had completely loaded just before this. And the unit is expired, and I was trying to renew.
