has anybody purchased a new MJ in the past month ?

Did it work on w7 without an upgrade and when the unit is connected , does it say WINDOWS 7 or Vista?

It is not necessarily true that the new comp recognizes the MJ and just runs it as W7 and that is the reason for my query-

My original MJ would not work on my new W7 computer and I had to go through a hassle to update or upgrade it and even then , it says that I have VISTA when I don't-- Yes, it ...

I would like to buy a MJ which is WINDOWS 7 ready and does not need to be updated --

How do I make sure that this is the case if I buy it from EBAY or from the manufacturer--

When you ask someone from EBAY, they do not seem to know and of course , I cant seem to get the answer from the mfr, unless ...

I got to win 7 update for MJ support and after the update , i get the same message that says all updated , but only for VISTA which I never used --

Can this be resolved or should I just get another MJ?
