The way I see it Magic Jack costs me 8 cents a day. I can live with little glitches here and there. My only glitch with Magic Jack is sometimes incoming calls get a fast busy signal and callers have to try 2 or 3 times before they get through. Update
UPDATE:
Got the 100k OHM resister and just placed it in one of the phone block slots and now caller ID works WITH ALARM CONNECTED. So I took it a step further and bypassed the modem in the computer and STILL CALLER ID shows up. So I think we are all good to go.
