Another method might be to set up a local group policy for the display timeout settings and such. Those setting 'usually' can't be adjusted by the user, so Magic Jack wouldn't be able to hijack them theoretically. I'll try that method out as well when I have a chance

Anyone have a fix for XP SP3?? I can get around the screen saver problem by changing the setting to never and then back to 5 min. BUT sometimes I forget. So is there anyway to do for XP SP3 as for Win 7??

I don't have XP handy right now but I can try to recommend a few things ...

This worked well with my Win 7 64 bit. However, I used the following slightly different command to overwrite both the DISPLAY and SYSTEM (notice the additional "SYSTEM" at the end of both commands)

powercfg /requestsoverride PROCESS magicJack.exe DISPLAY SYSTEM
powercfg /requestsoverride ...

Unfortunately some of us run MagicJack on laptops/netbooks where that's not an option.
