When you plug in the magicjack, it should auto-start. However if it does not then go to My Computer and find the magicjack. It will show up like a flash drive. Open it and choose Start MagicJack. It will automatically run the software.

Strange... My modem, airport extreme, and Magicjack Plus are all mere inches from each other and I don't get any beeping.

Just want to say that I have been using MagicJack going on 3 years straight now.

I do kinda wish existing customers could have gotten some kind of deal on the new MagicJack Plus, but I don't regret spending the money at all.

I have my magicJack Plus, modem, and router plugged into a UPS, so there ...

More user friendly way...

Instead of downloading and using crontab, you could more easily use the built in iCal.

Make an event, and on alarm, choose "Run Script", point it to your script, and then set it to repeat daily, or weekly, etc...

Excellent script though. Very helpful!
