Since they ask for 5 year's worth of fees up front they have no incentive to help me solve my persistent outbound audio problem besides going through the scripts which aren't even remotely related. A better way would be to gradually ...

Can't set volume to max or min when switched to headset
This is not a big problem but rather an annoyance.
Normally I have the MagicJack switched to telephone so I never noticed before but now that I have it switched to headset (using my computer speakers and microphone) I can't slide my volume slider on XP all the way to the bottom or all the way to ...

No, actually I didn't try blocking the vms servers, just the servers listed on that proxy list on the wiki.
But I just tried it and still no luck, I can't force it to try any other servers other than cleveland and houston.
I added a "deny all traffic to 67.88.10.203 and 216.234.74.12" on my router ...

It probably is, I suspend my PC when I finish using it and the next day I wake up my PC and go through this ritual.
I used to leave my computer on all day but then I figured when I'm not home I'm not going to answer anyways so just let it go to voicemail and when I am home I wake up my PC. I got a ...

Funny thing, I called a friend in Ontario and the quality was good using the Cleveland proxy. Then I called my cell right after to test and every ring there will be 1-3 drop outs. I live in Alberta and most of my calls are local, maybe only my local calls are bad because I'm further from Cleveland ...

Took me a while to add all the proxy addresses to block to my router (since my router firewall rules only allow one IP per rule...), but now I get [error 3]. Looking at wireshark and filtering by sip packets it looks like it only tries 2 different proxies (cleaveland and houston) but never gets to ...

Sometimes when I have no dial tone, I just dial 1 on the onscreen softphone but don't click send and instead pick up my physical phone, it calls the test number then I hang up and the next time I pick up the phone I get the dial tone again. Not the best solution but saves me from unplugging the USB ...

Sorry for reviving an old thread but it comes up as the top link when I google "magicjack outgoing dropouts".
I've been experiencing this problem for about a year now, incoming files are crystal clear but outgoing calls have very frequent dropouts (every few seconds) which is very annoying. I got ...
