CrackerJack!

I have the Linksys WRT54GS ver 1.1 Router. I downloaded the latest firmware for that device from Cisco. I assume that the firmware update can only be used on ver 1.1, so I made no attempt to download any other firmware for new models.

I will see if the settings you suggested exist ...

Outgoing calls automatically disconnect after 30 secs!

It appears that something is interfering with outgoing calls causing the link to disconnect in about 30 secs. I can receive calls and they last a very long time.

If you are operating on a wireless LAN, connect your computer directly to the router, then plug up your MJ. Using a wireless LAN and the MJ, can have sporadic results and often displays the infamous ERROR 3 code message.

Try the connect to the router fix, and see if that clears up the issue!

I have MagicJack installed on a laptop, and I would get the "Please Connect....Error 3 message when one hour of the MJ booting up. Screen Resolution Change forced by MagicJack Bootup

When MJ boots up within Windows Vista, my screen flashes several times, and ends up by reducing my resolution. This does not happen under Windows 7.

As soon as I end the MJ application through the Windows Task Manager, my screen resolution returns to normal.

Is anyone experiencing the same ...
