VM reset
I've had MJ only a couple of weeks, and yesterday my VM stopped responding with anything but a *beep* , then hung up after twenty to thirty seconds. "Live Agent" (as opposed to what, a zombie??) very quickly walked me through a reset on my machine while she reset the VM, and the problem was solved ...
