I just got an email from Amazon.com about this product called the Ooma Hub, from first glance it appears to be like the Magic Jack. Was wondering if anyone on here had checked it out and how it compared against the MJ.

If your using WIFI try doing a straight plug in to your router or modem you will get a better connection thus better call quality. Also try going to task manager and changing the priority of MJ higher.

Have you tried calling other people?


You can click on Alt cont delete at the same time (vista) and then go to task manager, find Magic Jack USB Soft phone under Processes, right click and set the priority to high or real time. Not sure if that will help with the volume but it should give a little ...

I had the same problem getting the Promo code when I purchased my MJ. It took a lot of tech chats to get it but finally it did come and now my account reflects the extra years.
