My router will show a MAC address of devices on the network. You might be able to see it from the router end. I don't think any network device can work without a MAC address.

Make sure your MagicJack is at least 3 ftt away from your Wireless Router antennas. I found lots of problems when they were close. perhaps the radio waves are interfereing with the MagicJack. Same for being away from a cordless phone.

I bought the MJ+ and added it to an existing MJ account. I ported my landine to the MJ+. So: 1 account, 2 devices, 2 phone numbers. When I enable or diasable Auto-Renew it applies to both devices in my account.

There was some talk that mJ would also charge $10 every subsequent year for the port, but I'm not sure if that is actually the case, if it is it is a rip off.

It was reported on a thread in here a week or so ago that they had dropped the annual porting charge. But of course that was a week ago ...
