Air card mode is only used when you are using an air card connection, i think the updated dial pad does not have it anymore (i think), the only way to use the magicjack plus without a computer is by connecting it physically through the ethernet port that came with it to a router or a modem ...

an update has been made in magicjack's system, you cannot call a magicjack phone number if you do not have a 10 digit phone number or phone numbers who hide their numbers from appearing on the caller ID

you will not see a magicjack dial pad if you will connect the magicjack plus to your router, all you will get is a dial tone on the handset you connected to the it, have you plugged it to the AC adaptor that came with it then to your wall outlet?

each magicJack device has it's unique serial number which would differentiate one from the other, you may register that new magicjack under the same account and have the same magicJack phone number, email, but you cannot change it's serial number.

Satellite is not recommended for a Voip service, it's very prone to interuptions which would result to bad reception
