Again, your solution only applies to Magic Jack used in conjunction with a PC. I'm going to assume that, like me, most people paid extra for MagicJack PLUS so they could use it as a standalone. I hope MJ fixes the sound quality and beeping issues!

Tried it. Call quality seems to be a bit better.

The annoying beep however, has not gone away :-(

With MJ+, is the computer even an issue? I'm just trying to understand if the computer has any roll in it at all. It seems to me that once you unplug from the USB and go StandAlone, the computer is a non-issue. I'm trying to understand what options can be 'set' in the MJ+ before you go standalone ...

It appears that is a setting on the soft client. Like most of the threads I've read, they don't seem to apply if using the MJ+ as a standalone. Is there instructions on how to make this change for the MJ+? If I plug it into the computer and make the change with the device 'remember' it when I move ...

My MagicJack+ is also choppy. I haven't tried it as a standalone because the phone lines aren't real handy to the computer.

I find the call quality to be almost intolerable :-( I hope there is a solution, I didn't realize the MJ+ was such a new product.

We got MJ+ a couple weeks ago to replace our land line.... the beeping is driving me nuts.

I contacted chat support and I updated the firmware -- I still have beeping! Any idea what the solution might be??
