I had magic jack for 3 weeks now..trying to figure which to cancel and keep mj..

I had same problem phone wouldnt ring..went and bought a 35 dollar ac usb and it stilll didnt ring..the problem is in your pc configuarations

I had the same exact problem as you menitoned i also have win xp..it mya not be magic jack it maybbe your usb setttings in yr computer arent set properly to work with magic jack

i sent my first magic jaCK BACK
ne wone set up amd told me that i didnt have it in right usb port it needs to be in high ...

you may have your magic jakc in the wrong port...make sure its a high speed port or it wont get enuf voltage..i did this and now my phone rings loud sound clear..

OKay i got my magic jack beginning of april,first day the volume was crappy,,second day when someone would call me , the phone wouldnt ring..i been thru dozens of tech support ppl ..tried dozen dif thing..2 days ago my new magic jack came in mail..i first formatted my pc reinstalled win xp..plugged ...

I got my magic jack 10 days ago first day my phone would ring.. but volume when talking to others was very low..so i unplugged my fax machine from my pc thinking it owuld help thne after that phone wouldnt ring anymore when getting an incoming call..does anyone know what i should do i tried 20 dif ...

My phone rang the first whole day i set it up then just stopped..what does this mean?
if there isnt enuf voltage etc why did it ring the first day?

yes i spoke to them repeatedly,,they had me do numerous things to try and figure it out..i can make calls fine can receive calls fine..just no ringing phone whena call comes in

I got my magic jack 5 days ago phone rang the first day..then ever since it wont ring..i tried everything..even bought the power ac hub..my phone was new also..im about to return it..im frustrated..i can make and receive calls but dont know when a call is coming in unlesss im sitting at the pc ...
