beeps are gone - got a longer cable
I had to move my MJ+ about 8 feet away from my wifi but the beeps seems to be gone now. They need to give a longer cable, the one they supply is too short.

may have been assigned a new ip
It is possible that your router lost contact for a little bit and the ip number changed but the jack didn't get the message. Unplugging and plugging back into will let it refresh and reestablish a connection.

beeping tone for those calling, what seems to have helped me
I had UVerse VoIP prior. It had a line filter installed (M-150) Modular RFI line filter.
I installed it on my Magic Jack Plus line and the tones have stopped. Don't know for how long but it seems to be working now.
