I changed over to Linux and don't have Windows at all EXCEPT for XP in Virtual Box. Magic Jack Does work in that Virtual OS. But we that want the fun of Linux are still left out. 2011 Magic Jack in Linux and Virtual Box
Hello. I saw your old post and the responses. Today is 12/13/2011 and I'm using Magic Jack in Virtual Box on my old XP disc/OS set up inside it. I had a Windows7 Mint 12 dual boot but now only have Linux Ubuntu 11.10. I like tinkering and seeing how things work or don't work. Yes, I use a similar ...

Windows 7 and Magic Jack blocked?
Hello, I saw your post. I had no problem with Magic Jack using XP or Windows 7. I remember doing something like right clicking on the Magic Jack folder in Windows itself and selecting "run as administrator" but It sounds to me like a Router is blocking it. Check the Router's Web page in those forums ...

Had router trouble TOO until....
Hi. I saw this post. I do NOT have that type of Router, I use a wired setup. BUT my old Llinksys routers were a pain and the last one died after a firmware update. Turned into a brick like a week after upgrading. So I gave up. Bought a 45.00$ one box Action-TEC. It was so much easier than stupid ...

Magic Jack on Linux, life after Windows.
Not sure how Linux got brought up in this TOPIC area but I use Magic Jack on Ubuntu 11.10 AND did on Linux Mint 12 too. MORE correctly, I use it on Windows XP in the Virtual Box. I've looked at WINE, but turned my head at THAT like a confused dog and used Virtual Box. I actually liked Windows7, I ...

Magic Jack problems?
Hi. I've used it for well over a year now. No problems except learning how to use a new Router to allow calls out. All has been fine. That issue with getting Too big for their britches is a concern. I've noticed a long delay in CS CHAT people being busy. I've got most answers from forums like this ...

Customer Service takes longer now
I've noticed ever since the explosion in new users and the infomercials, Calling on the CHAT through the Web pages takes a lot, LOT longer. Maybe it's they aren't staffed with enough people? I've never had a problem with MJ. Whats the major problem with yours? Just wondering?

I hate that router.
Saw your post. I hate Linksys routers. I have 2 total bricks now and one of them is the Number you listed. I couldn't get it to work with Magic Jack for nothing. Then the new replacement stopped working after one new firmware install that went fine. 3 days later, nothing. I finally gave up, went out ...
