OK so no way to change answer ring setting how about any suggestion to get the computer to stop announcing and ringing?

The magic features plugin that fixes this costs $20 and will not allow me to connect directly with the router. Just upgrade their software to change to 5 rings before answering..no big deal.
As it is my answering machine is in a tie race of 4 rings to answer
with a 50 percent winning race

I WANT TO STOP THE SOUND OF COMPUTER ANSWERING RING AND CALL NOTIFICATION.
I AM USING MY ANSWERING MACHINE WITH MY MJ PLUS
CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE COMPUTER USB PORT WITH MJ FEATURES PLUG IN TO KEEP THE MJ FROM ANSWERING ON THE FOURTH RING.
OF COURSE I HAD NO PROBLEMS WHEN CONNECTED TO THE ROUTER ...

Is it possible to use my own answering machine on MJ PLUS?
Perhaps turn off MJ answering service or changing # of rings before answering?
To allow my machine to pick up?
