I'm not sure what you mean by REN. The ringer is turned on.

It's just a cheap GE Slimline phone. Model 29265EE1

I've used my cordless phone before and it did ring fine. Now it doesn't.

I'm tried using a cordless phone and regular desk phone. The phone doesn't make a ringing sound on incoming calls. The MJ displays that a call is coming in.

I did the MJ update, but didn't help.

Telephone not ringing on MJ

I can make and receive calls fine on two PCs that I have. One runs Vista, the other XP SP3.

When a call comes in the MJ box pops up and asks if I want to answer the call and I can no problem. I have no ringing sound.

The same phone rings fine on Vonage.

If you didn't want to put an HD inside that HP Thin Client, you could use this adapter.
