Thanks for the feedback. By testing with the MJ server turned off and by bypassing my local router in different testing configurations, I've discovered that the problem is not MagicJack related, but rests in my Netgear router. Greetings,

I also had the same error 23 problem with a Linksys wrt54gl router. I followed the advice posted above/below and upgraded my firmware from 4.30.12 to 4.30.15 by downloading the new firmware from Cisco and voila! the problem was fixed. Thanks so much for the tip! :D

magicJack plus error 23- Linksys WRT54GL router
I found a solution for the "Error 23" problem when magicJack is connected to my router.
I have a Linksys WRT54GL router, and got persistent disconnects after 33-34 seconds. After upgrading to the v4.30.15 firmware, connection is golden.
