This makes sense. However, when I spoke (chat) with support , I was told the time is based on the area code. I don't think that's true because I have a west coast area code for my MJ number and still my CID time is for EST.

I have purchased a new phone ( GE 30522EE5-A) and the time displayed on the LCD seems to be in synch with EST (New York time zone) instead of PST (Los Angeles time zone, where I am). I set the correct local time (and area code) on the phone but when I receive the first call the time gets changed ...
