Short version: MJ+ is toxic landfill. Otherwise useless. Stick with the old one until it dies. Maybe by then the + will be fit to use use or those B* will be out of business.

Their so-called tech support is designed to run you in circles until you give up. They are useless.

Lousy! It doesn't work. Is that clear enough.

The MJ+ works when used with the computer, just like the old MJ. It doesn't work without the computer. and no amount of time wasted "chatting" with whatever can get it to work.

My computer has no other problems. Internet, check. Peripherals, check.

Given that the MJ+ doesn't work, better stick with the old one.

Yep. Same thing here. MJ worked all right for a couple of years. Made the mistake of buying MJ+. It doesn't work. Works fine when plugged into the USB port like old MJ, but useless otherwise.
