I can hear on MJ perfectly - other end reports breaking up

My router doesn't allow me to assign a priority to MJ using QoS. Any other things I can try? How about the new MJ? Will that improve the breaking up of my voice? Thanks.

Sorry, but I thought that by posting the actual number, someone would have a better answer. I have no idea why MJ would block that specific number - and the recording didn't say tha the number was blocked. It just asked if I wanted to make a conference call or call a platform. Both are foreign to me ...

Can't dial the number: 401-383-2000

401 is the Rhode Island area code and the number is to COX Cable. When I dial, I immediately get a MJ recording and my call won't go through.

No, it's a 401 area code (Rhode Island) and all other calls to that state work.

Can't call out - receive a recorded message from MJ

When I try to call out, I receive a recorded message from MJ saying: To make a conference call or to call a platform, go to my.magicjack.com, etc. Can someone tell me what this is about? I've never had this problem before. Thank you.

How can I find the MAC address of my MJ?

I want to give my MJ a higher priority to my router and have been trying very hard to find the answer to my question. So far, I haven't found anything I can use or that is simple. There must be a simple way to get this address. I have a Linksys Router and can add devices to my QoS (if I have the MAC ...

My attached devices only show the two computers on the local wireless network. Can't find the MJ (although it IS working and attached).

I did find a way to enter a MAC address for adding MJ to QoS - but I don't know what a MAC address is nor do I know where to find the one for MJ. This screen is separate from the one that requests a Port range.

Is there a way on this forum for me to send you a picture of my router screen where it shows the QoS settings? If so, how do I activate it? BTW, for some odd reason, this forum wouldn't take my old Username and Password - so I had to re-register. That's why I couldn't reply to you right away. Thanks ...

I have a Cisco router and found the QoS section. It is turned off. I can turn it on but it requires me to add a Name" (MagicJack) and a port range. I have no idea where to begin to choose a port range. Could you suggest one, please?
