If the problem there are only certain phone numbers then you really need to chat with them regarding this matter and of course they will escalate this to correct the routing problem

The problem there is that your drivers are not loading properly... Just go to your device manager then go to "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" in there look for USB audio device or TigerJet... If you see USB audio device just right click on it and click on update driver select update automatically ...

Just go to your device manager... go to Sounds audio and video game controllers... look for USB audio or Tigerjet ... If you see tigerjet please uninstall it and unplug your magicjack device and plug it back in. Otherwise if you see USB audio device just right click and update the driver

On your dial pad click on MENU then click on VOLUME HEADSET CONTROL then select TELEPHONE...

Open your device manager

right click on the first USB Root Hub and select Properties. Then go to the Power Management Tab and uncheck the box for “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.” Then do this to the Rest of the USB Root Hub (One at a time).

What's the point of buying MJ PLUS? To avoid leaving the PC on 24/7, right? In other words, MJ plus is designed to be used in a router. So, if that's the case, I don't think your suggestion will do it...peace man. Thanks for that though.

Once pad is up
Click on menu
Click Volume Headset Control
Toggle between Headset and Telephone
Select Telephone
Close
Plug magicjack plus to router

portforwarding ... you still need to get the exact IP address on your magicjack plus device. look for the ip address on your routers settings page then use the specific ip address to add it to your portforwarding and it should be fixed

no it shouldn't be, look for your magicjack plus IP address. look for a mac address that starts with 6c:xx:xx:xx that is your magicjack plus then copy the corresponding ip address on that

That chat flow is familiar. those are people who does not give you fixes they may be good at words but their fixes doesn't really fix the problem.

I had an existing number with original MJ for many years, a few bugs but no complaints. Just got the new MJ Plus, uninstalled the MJ, followed the directions for the new version. Phone book shows up when plugged into computer ... but not when I run through router. Can make and recieve calls okay ...

You can also purchase a lot of number and one magicjack device set one number active and set the call forwarding for the other numbers

Check your java if the chat box does not appear. and let me suggest that you don't go looking for live support on sunday's you will have a hard time getting an agent to assist you. Why?! because almost half of the agents are on their off.

HAHAHA actually it can't be changed... trust me I know. no matter how much you change it it won't change it will be the same EST. Since the server of the magicjack needs to sync all users in the world they set only 1 time for it. even if you change it a million times it will still be the same

That didn't work in the past, with repeated requests for deactivation. However, when they switched over to the new "mymagicjack" page, my old device was gone, so hopefully they are more open to removals.

That is easy, make sure that you have all the right audio codecs for the computer if you are using a regular magicjack. Just download the divx program it has all the codecs needed for it to work properly. And for the magicjack plus just add the 5060 and 5070 ports to portforwarding or activate the ...

well actually upgrading the firmware is not the only fix for having audio problems on magicjack plus connected to the router. You can also add the ports that the magicjack uses which is 5060 and 5070 or you can activate the "DMZ" or the demilitarized zone on the settings on your router.
