That sounds like a different problem. From what I read here the Plus does seem to have a problem dropping calls for some people. Of course it could have been the other end who dropped the call. If it was a cell phone you were talking too, it happens a lot.

Yep 90 min down from 2 hrs a few years ago.... Just because Black_Icon thinks 90 min is enough he thinks everyone else should feel the same. There are times the 90 min time limit can and does "byte" one in the ass...

I guess you never called tech support of some kind and put on hold for over an hr? I have and at times 90 min is not enough as nothing worse being on hold for a long time only to watch the clock to see how much time you have left to talk...

Oops! That's what I get for reading too much...

It hit me, the posts about NOT using the usb extension were talking about the dongle being hooked to the computer...

As a power cord extension it probably wouldn't hurt, would it...

I've had it hooked straight to the computer for a month.
All was well at first. Then about a week ago it started acting up again. I tried to call the mj+: they could hear me, but I could not hear them. The mj+ calls me back and we can hear each other ...

I did all that and got dependable service for a few weeks...

then it was back to dropped calls again.

I plugged it straight into a usb on the computer and ran it that way...

got good service for a few weeks, then it started acting up AGAIN!

I'm contemplating the firmware hack....

I eventually started getting dropped calls too with my MJ plus. Me and other members had a hunch it was the latest firmware update that was done. We all rolled back to the October firmware, and have had no dropped calls since. Mine is working perfectly now.

Audio is great!

But, today I called the mj+ from work and I could not hear the person talking on the mj+, but they could hear me. I told them to CALL ME (from the mj+) and it worked fine.

Later I called the mj+ from my cell with no issues...

Here we go again!

previously, if I called the mj+ from work, the mj+ couldn't talk but it could listen;
if the mj+ made the call it could talk and listen, but the call would drop at various time intervals.

names with numbers jan 4, jan 23, jan 27,
then seems to have stopped on the 30th of January.

Then I got a name with the number on the 21st of this month, then no more.
