However I'm glad I tried it, and I'm glad I didn't cancel my land line.
There are many inexpensive VOIP services far better than MJ. No need to go back to the land line.

I get my Internet via the phone line (Bell), so is that a good thing ?

I'm just curious, if I cancel my phone line provider, and then rely on the MJP, who will fix the phone line if it is damaged in a storm or a contractor accidentally cuts a wire. I doubt my phone provider would fix it for free like before. That said, I still have my Internet with my provider, so ...
