I just upgraded to the Plus since they had it on sale.

I sold my original and transferred my number over to the Plus.

Now I am finding out that the MagicJack itself can not be transferred to another user. :roll:

MagicJack states they are 2 different devices, and you can not transfer months over ...

Well, it is back to it`s old trick. Even when I called from my cell phone, right to Voice mail.

going back to step #1, how do I change / check the IP settings for the MJ ?

I have the router settings and they are in the normal range, but I do not see where on the MJ account to view them.

I was just about to buy the MJ plus as it was renewal time June 21st. I went with one more year with the regular one.
So far have not received any calls but no voice mail messages either.

Thanks Steve. I skipped ahead to step #2 since to me that seemed the most likely fix, and added the MJ auto.ico file to the anti-virus whitelist. When I called from my cell phone, it worked. My cell phone is not the best test though, as that has been one that usually goes through after dealing with ...

I checked my MJ settings:

(X) Accept incoming and outgoing calls
(x) ring time was at 25 seconds - I changed it to 45 seconds


My computer is set to never sleep. Have it in the high performance setting on. USB plugs are not set to shut off either.
