My laptop is set to lock after 90 min. of inactivity and I have noticed that MJ+ needs to be restarted in order to function properly after the machine locks; additionally it will not recieve calls when locked. Any thoughts?

Phone rings I pick it up but caller continue to ring through to voicemail while I hear dead air. Only been happening for a week now. OUtbound calls are fine.

Any thoughts?

I'm having the same issue. It's been going on for a few weeks now. Also noticed the mj has been shutting down regularly. I've had my mj for well over a year and until now it has run great.

Yes, I have done/am running the following:

Windows XP sp3
Powered USB
100h resister
two different phones (1) dec6.0 (1) 5.3
latest fix/upgrade on my MJ
System is a HP ZE4900 communicating through a Citrix/Linxus Draft N wireless router

For the past couple of weeks my MJ keeps placing calls on hold all by itself. When I try to resume the call it disconnects. Also the call quality has become poor.

OK it's driving me mad. I ran the update tool off MJ support and now when ever the ads change it makes a click sound. As I leave my laptop on all night in the bedroom , it is becoming an issue. Any idea how to loose the audio clicks w/o violating MJ EULA?

It's interesting when I use my magicjack with my bluetooth headset it sounds great; however, when I try plugging a cordless phone into the MJ it is static all the way. I'm using a powerd USB hub and those individuals on the other end of the call do not hear the static. three phones now and each one ...

The one and only function I miss from my former land line service is Anonymous/Private Call Rejection. Does this currently exist and Ijust cann't seem to activate it? If it does not exist, is it planned for the future?

I've tried multiple phones now and for some reason I can hear everyone but they cant hear me. checkt voluem settings and they seem to be fine. Headset works as well. I'm running XP sp2 on an HP ZE4900 w/1G RAM. Any thoughts. I did work when I fist got my MJ back in April.

I run my fax modem all the time through the MagicJack and the native fax appplication in XP. I've never had an issue sending or receiving fax data.

I'm looking to find a way to set the Internet call option in IE Programs to MajicJack as apposed to Netmeeting or Skype. Any ideas?

I used a trial version of exe2svc and installed the loader as a service running under the system account. As long as the original path of the loader does not change due to removing that profile, the loader runs automatically under all 10 user accounts on my XP system.
