There's so many postings here that I cannot get a grasp on what the main issue is. Would appreciate it simply put, rather than the going back and forth about other issues ... please .... from a senior fellow.

We have MJ PLUS for about a year now, and very happy; 2.oo+- per month sure beats ...

Most of the MJ+'s phone "system" sounds - dial tone, busy tone, Call Waiting beeps, "stutter" dial tone (indicating there's a voicemail message waiting), error messages, etc. - are all actually small sound/audio files that are stored in the MJ+ device itself and are "turned on" when needed ...

MagicJack service comes with Call Waiting. I *think* that if you log into your MJ account online and fish around the settings therein, you'll find a way to turn it off (if you wish).

Several times in our short life and limited usage MagicJack Plus, while on the phone have had what sounds like incoming call warning sounds. Person on the other end of the line seems to not hear it; but on our end it over rides the discussion. The tones are spaced like incoming calls ... but we don ...

Are you downloading something or using your internet connection for something else at the same time as using the MJ+? If so, don't. I have a slower connection speed than what you have reported. My MJ+ works fine if I'm not surfing when talking.

Shows that all is OK (green buttons) except 'consistency of service ', at 83% , while acceptable ... indicating "could be broken at times" ; which is what we experienced yesterday.

Is there anything we can do to improve that?
