I registered the account "MaximilianKohler" a while ago but the conformation email never arrived so I was never able to login to it. Is there anything that can be done?

You have to call their support and complain. The close button has been broken for so many months now. I think they did it on purpose because people not handy with computers were clicking it thinking it would just close the GUI but the phone would still work.

I've had to resort to using a .bat ...
