None of the fixes worked so the MJ engineers are working on it. This is the first time I ever had a problem with MJ after 4 years. I hope they can fix it because I need to call Canada daily. If they cant fix it I'll have to dump MJ and find another service

I called from San Diego (858) to Montreal (514) and the person on the other end can't hear me. But I can hear them fine. Is there a fix for this?

they changed it to a male voice. I don't like that it says "The Magic Jack customer at ..." I prefer callers not to know I am using MJ. The female voice only said "The person at.."

I already extended MJ for a year and they charged my card $19.95. I received an mail saying I ordered a Gold Plan and to enter the claim code at myjack.com. I didn't order a Gold Plan. If I enter the claim code will they charge me another $19.95?

After 1 year of having MJ I can say this is one of the best of best electronic buys I ever made. I must have saved thousands in long distance calls. In the beginning there was static but I haven't heard it since last summer. They must have upgraded their hardware. Every call is loud and clear!

I learned never install a new Windows service pack until a year after its released. All the new XP SP3 and Vista SP1 users are basically beta testers for Microsoft without getting paid. I save myself a lot of headaches trying to get software and hardware to work properly

Looks like MJ has just started charging people's account immediately. They only charged me for exepidited shipping $3.95 after I ordered. Then they put 2 pending charges for $39.95 and $6.95 on the card. After 3 days the pending charges fell off and I was charged $46.90 at the end of the trail period

MJ works perfect for me too. I'm definitely gonna keep it. I have to say its one of the best gadgets I ever bought. I haven't missed an incoming call or voice message yet. I noticed the audio quality is louder and clearer during off peak hours. Never had a problem dialing to cellphones

I have Nero installed but only the burner part. I think when you install the whole bloated Nero Ultra suite it conflicts with MJ

sounds like you got a bad one. I have XP SP2 and mine was working in only 2 minutes. Good luck in trying to get them to RMA it, its gonna be a nightmare. They might charge your credit card twice. One for the return and another for the replacement

MJ has taken over nothing. I did full system scans with several anti-virus and spyware programs and it turned up negative. Do you know how much trouble MJ would be in if they installed that crap on your computer? There aren't any pop-up ads either. The only ads are for MJ and its on the softphone

I pulled my old WebTV Plus with 56K modem out of the closet to see if would work with MJ. It made the connection but it couldn't communicate. Since you can send faxes with MJ I figured WebTV would work too. Anybody know if I can get the WebTV modem to work with MJ?

MJ can't be the only phone because its not really portable. A lot of people don't have laptops. MJ best use is for a home phone. A cellular phone is too convenient to go without one. If you have MJ and a pay-as-you-go cellphone, you can save a lot of money
