I should also mention we tried another Mac, and Windows XP computer, and a different telephone too but the problem remained.

I spent 2 hours in chat, sent about 20 emails and even let them remote into my Mac to try to fix and observe the problem but no luck. They are sending me a free replacement though, which is great seeing is my MJ is almost 3 years old. I don't feel anything is actually wrong with my MJ, I think ...

I updated now when someone calls me and I decide not to answer the voicemail picks up in 4 rings but my telephone will not stop ringing, even if the caller has hung up my phone still rings. Also I tested this in XP and Snow Leopard and I am having he same problem in both OS's on different computers.

As an FYI for you all. I recently installed build 7048 of Win7 and MagicJack appears to work out of the box. I get the typical "Please wait for a lifetime of free calls" (or whatever is says) and then the service starts on it's own since going to this version.

Live Chat did not work for me. Emailing [email protected] did. I believe the fellows name was Richard who answers this email address...he is an Engineer and had me up and running in less than a day.
