Engdavidj, thanks for the tip. I have a DLink DIR 628. I deselected the SIP as you suggested and the time delay is now gone on my MagicJack + 2014 as well!!

Based on a tip I found in this forum, I found the SIP option in my router was selected (found in advanced - firewall section of my D-Link router). This relates directly to VOIP applications.
