Porting out
I'm thinking about giving Ooma a try once the Ooma Telo comes out. The thing is: I like my MJ phone number, and would like to use it w/ Ooma. I know you can NOT port a number to MJ yet, but has anyone tried to port a number away from MJ. If so did it work?

If I don't start MJ, my CPU runs 1-3% typically and much less memory usage. It's plugged into the computer and NOT on ...

I suspect I wouldn't have this problem if it wasn't running in compatibility mode.
Just to see what would happen I ran my mj on win7 under Vista compatibility mode. I started mj at 5:30pm it was using 18.6M of memory. After an hour an a half, at 7pm, it was using 36.8M of memory. I made no calls ...

Re: Windows 7 - System Memory Usage grows while idling???
BTW - my magicjack will only work under Windows 7 running in compatibility mode for Vista. Wonder if this is causing the problem.
Have you tried this method for running mj on 7, does not require running compatibility mode.

Microsoft's Wireless Zero Configuration Tool
Are you using Windows to manage the wireless connection or an app provided by the wi-fi card maker?

issues after changing TN
I changed my TN on 12/14. Everything went fine at the time, restart MJ inbound/outbound on new number working. Since then though I have had issues with how well it works. Before changing the number I had one day with no dial tone, but it seem like on the forums other people were down that day, came ...
